Enrol in lecture series on development cooperation!

oikos Cologne launches a lecture series on development cooperation and sustainability, integrated into the official Bachelor curriculum.

Prospects

The course provides a professional analysis of aspects, goals, methods and problems of development cooperation. Both students and the public are provided with an information and discussion platform for examining development issues against the sustainability background.

Target Group

The lecture addresses students of different fields of studies such as economics, management and regional, social/political sciences.

Subjects

We intend to cover the complex field of development cooperation by selecting a variety of subjects presented by professionals in order to draw a realistic picture, identify lacks of sustainability and develop respective responses.

Integration into University Curriculum

The University of Cologne accepted the lecture series organised by oikos Cologne to be incorporated into the official Bachelor curriculum (Studium Integrale). Students of all programmes are allowed to participate and obtain BA-credit points by writing a paper.
