ETH PhD Academy on 'organisations and climate change'

The oikos Foundation is happy to partner with the 2009 ETH PhD Academy on Sustainability and Technology on “Organizations and Climate Change”, taking place from February 1 - 6, 2009 at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zurich (Switzerland).

The aim of the annual ETH PhD-Academy is to promote excellent PhD research in the area of sustainability and technology and to develop responsible leaders for tomorrow. The five days of the academy concentrate on improving the research design and methodology of participants’ PhD projects. The organizers invite PhD students with a background in strategic management, technology/innovation management, or institutional change to participate in the academy.

The Faculty 2009 will consist of

• Prof. Dr. Monika Winn (Professor for Business Strategy and Sustainability, University of Victoria, Canada),
• Prof. Dr. Andrew Griffiths (Professor for Strategy and Sustainability, UQ Business School, University of Queensland, Australia) and
• Prof. Dr. Volker Hoffmann (Professor for Sustainability and Technology, ETH Zurich, Switzerland).
