University administration supports oikos sustainability reporting project

oikos Bayreuth got the support of the university administration for its sustainability reporting project. The objective of the project is a sustainability report for the University of Bayreuth that is in accordance with the standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

In a meeting today the Chancellor of the university Dr. Ekkehard Beck expressed the general support of the university administration for the project. He headed the delegation of the university administration that met with oikos Bayreuth President Christoph Laier and Anna Ritschel, Project Lead Sustainability Reporting.

Follow-up meetings will clarify the procedure of data gathering and report compilation.
