During the last oikos Winter Schools, nearly all participants stayed at various homes of students of Witten/Herdecke university. Good news: This year, you will have that opportunity again!

This is an absolutely great way to not only save money (of course it is free!) but also get to know new people and discover the student life in Germany. Like couchsurfing, it's not only fun but also a sustainable way of living and travelling. Many of our previous participants developed long-lasting friendships with their student hosts and some even came back for a visit! If you have any special wishes or needs concerning your stay in Witten, please let us know in your application. We'll do our best to make your week here as best as possible.
