Handover Winter School 2009 - 2010
oikos Winter School 2010 Kick Off Meeting,
From the 13th to the 14th of February eight Students from the Witten/Herdecke University came together to constitute the oikos Winter School 2010 team. Supported from the WS2009 Team and other „Winter School Veterans“ the students from the business and philosophy faculty had an inspiring weekend where they formulated their goals and responsibilities for the 7th oikos Winter School.
„The new, interdisciplinary team allows us to rethink the Format of the Winter School. I belief we will give the WS2010 an interesting and hopefully challenging perspective.“, says Simone Wenzel, student of Philosophy and Culture and one Team Coordinator of the brand new team.
We are very much looking forward to the next Winter School and wish our successors all the best!

Nobel Prize Winner in Witten
Prof. Dr. George A. Akerlof, Nobel Prize Winner in Economics 2001, is visiting Witten/Herdecke University within the 3rd Witten Lectures in Economics and Philosophy during the „oikos Winter School 2009“. All Winter School participants will have the opportunity to get into conversations and personal exchange with him.
