oikos Project Leadership Programme (PLP)

"The oikos PLP has been a unique opportunity for me to meet visionary oikos project leaders from all over Europe to share experiences in the development of  projects. The coaching process helped me to reflect on aims, impact and different ways of conducting my project. I can only recommend applying for the PLP!"

Wolfgang Machur, Project Leader 2008, designing a sustainability guide for Hamburg

"The PLP has been a great training programme that did not only help my to realize my project idea. Personally, I learned a lot what I can apply in future! My personal commitment, a convincing presentation of my ideas and taking responsibility for my team are essential elements to move forward with whatever projects I want to pursue."
Julia Knauseder, Project Leader 2009, oikos Graz

Participants of PLP 2008

The Project Leadership Programme (PLP) is an action learning programme for oikos members. You learn about project management, team leadership and sustainability while working on your project idea. oikos accompanies you on this learning journey, providing coaching, knowledge and a great group of likeminded people.

The PLP enables oikos students to realise their most exciting project ideas fostering sustainability entrepreneurship within the oikos network. oikos students hand in ideas for projects they want to realize during the coaching process of the PLP from April to September/October 2010.

Three coaching meetings from April to September/October 2010 enable the participants to become the next generation of sustainability leaders. It is a prerequisite for participation to attend all three meetings!

During the last meeting the projects will be presented in front of the oikos student community, business representatives and oikos alumni.

70% of the travel expenses are covered by oikos.

The oikos PLP 2008 and 2009 have successfully been completed already. Twenty oikos students have been coached through the realization process of their projects.
