Hi everybody,

I studied Geography with the minors economy and environmental economy in Fribourg (Switzerland) and Montreal (Canada). Parallel to my studies I worked with the Agency for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (AEE) and as a teacher. Currently I am pursuing my doctoral studies at the University of St.Gallen.

My interests lie in the economic aspects of renewable energy, energy efficiency as well as energy policy. My first paper is about the effectiveness of solar support policies in Germany, Spain and Greece. In my second paper I am looking at the point of view of solar project developers. I am interested in getting to know the factors that influence their solar plant location decision. This research is part of the EU project DISTRES (Promotion and consolidation of all RTD activities for renewable distributed generation technologies in the Mediterranean region) which is about the promotion of solar power in the Mediterranean countries.

In my free time, I love doing outdoor sports and spending time with friends. I especially like jogging and hiking in the Swiss mountains.   Looking forward to see you all this summer!
