Dear friends,
I am a second year PhD student from Bratislava, the capital of Slovak Republic, where I study and teach at the Faculty of International Relations, Bratislava University of Economics. The focus of my studies is International Economics. I also tutored two seminars from World Economy this semester and I enjoyed it! My special focus is ecological economics, economics of energy systems and subjects as climate change, China, automotive industry, etc.
Besides, during my daily life, I am connected with the city of Vienna, the capital of Austria, which is located only about 55 km from Bratislava, or about one hour by train. I work for the non-profit organization Finpro, which is the Finnish trade promotion organization. Here I participate in projects within the Energy & Environment industry, like for instance Cleantech Finland – a platform that brings Finnish cleantech companies together. Speaking about my personal interests, I am very closely tied to music and playing guitar, I like arts, reading, from sports skiing, mountain hiking and many other activities, preferably exercised in the nature. And regarding the ICT, I am a Mac user :-). I am looking forward to seeing you all in August.
