Evaluation Criteria

Evaluation criteria 1-9 deal with the project quality, criteria 10-15 with the team quality and criteria 16-19 figure out which are gaps and need for support.

  1. Are objectives, target group(s) and benefits clearly defined and coherently presented?
  2. Is the project planning (incl. budget and milestones) realistic and appropriate?
  3. Does the proposed project contribute to our oikos mission and vision?
  4. Which role does the project play within the local chapter?
  5. What will be the most probable impact of this project? (inside and outside oikos)
  6. Is the project unique? (new, at least for oikos, innovative, something to remember)
  7. Will the project have a long lasting impact?
  8. What about financial sustainability?
  9. Can the project serve as a role model (within and outside oikos)?
  10. Are responsibilities clearly defined and coherently presented?
  11. Does the application provide us with the confidence that the responsible persons have the necessary capabilities, experience, enough energy and “the right attitude”?
  12. Is the applicant realistic in his or her reflection on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats?
  13. Did the team itself identify gaps and has a clear understanding of what kind of support they like to ask for?
  14. Is there a team or only a “lonely cowboy”?
  15. Does the project breath and foster entrepreneurial thinking and action?
  16. What does this project need to boost its impact? (money, advise, networks, publicity…)
  17. What would happen, if the oikos PDF would not exist? How can we make a difference?
  18. Who is already involved? Whom could we involve in addition?
  19. Where else could we involve the already involved people?
  20. Will we support the project? Yes/No? With money and/or other support?
  21. What exactly is our contribution to the project and why?
