Taylor Gray is originally from New Brunswick, Canada. He is currently a D.Phil. student at the School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford, UK. His research is focused on Canadian corporate governance in an age of financial globalization. Of particular interest is how the Canadian market for corporate governance is influenced by supra-national forces, such as institutional investors with global reach and related voluntary non-state financial governance systems (UN PRI). Of further interest is how the resulting corporate governance landscape will impact non-financial corporate governance stakeholders, such as employees, communities, and government agencies. Taylor completed a B.Sc. (Hon.) in Biology at Bishop’s University, Canada and a M.Sc. (Hon.) in Nature, Society and Environmental Policy at the University of Oxford, UK. More recently, he was contracted by the City of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada to develop and implement an environmental certification program for local businesses.
