PhD candidates need to fulfill the formal requirements to undertake a PhD at the University of St. Gallen.
Interested PhD Candidates are invited to apply by 30 March 2009 with a standardised application form (doc) containing the following items:

2.1 Voluntary activities
2.2 Why do you want to become an oikos PhD Fellow?
3. PhD Project Information
3.1 Proposed PhD Project Title
3.2 Short description of the PhD project
3.3 Previous publications (if applicable)
4. References
Letter of recommendation of a person who knows you.
The next deadline for applications is March 30, 2009.

April 30, 2009 | Finalist Selection Applicants will be notified by April 30 whether they have been selected as finalists. |
June 4, 2009 | Interviews are conducted in St. Gallen/Switzerland by selected Professors of the University of St. Gallen and members of oikos. Expenses are paid by the oikos Foundation. |
June 29, 2009 | Notification All finalists will be notified |
Sept. 1, 2009 | Commencement of the oikos PhD fellowship |
Aug. 30, 2012 | Completion of the oikos PhD fellowship |
