About the oikos PhD Fellowship Programme

The oikos PhD Fellowship Programme aims to advance entrepreneurial driven research in the areas of sustainable management and economics.

To target this objective, the programme supports outstanding students to pursue a PhD at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

oikos Fellows receive a grant for three years to complete the PhD courses, conduct their research, finalize their doctoral thesis and contribute to concrete sustainability projects related to oikos activities.

An international Academic Advisory Board is supporting the programme. 

The 2008 deadline for applications was March 15, 2008.  We intend to publish the next call for applications in early 2009.  

The oikos PhD Fellowship Programme is being funded by the  Foundation for the Third Millennium, the Fondation H. Looser,  Andre Hoffmann and STIFTUNG MERCATOR SCHWEIZ.
