Presidents and Advisors Retreat 2010
During the 2010 oikos Presidents and Advisors Retreat, 34 participants from 18 different chapters gathered to develop creative ways of collaboration for moving oikos closer to its vision and mission.This year's retreat took place on 3/4 September in Switzerland, in the beautiful surroundings of Glarus - 1 hour from Zurich.
The two days in September were designed to make us:
- jointly understand the vision that is moving oikos forward as well as the roles of advisors and Chapter Presidents.
- reflect and exchange experience and cross-fertilize ideas that further strengthen the linkages between advisory councils and the Chapters.
- clarify expectations between oikos Advisors and Chapter Presidents
- create a network of like-minded supporters of oikos from academia, business and civil society.
- explore methods for providing advice, acting as a coach, supporting organizational change and working together.
