oikos PhD Summer Academy 2007

Sustainability, Innovation and Entrepreneurship

August 20 - 24, 2007

The 8th oikos PhD Summer Academy focused on the role of innovation management and entrepreneurship in achieving Sustainable Development. It aimed at fostering new ideas and solutions with regard to how businesses (and other stakeholders) can contribute to overcome key sustainability challenges, for example by commercializing clean energy technologies.

Feedback was given by three internationally well-reputed researchers:

• Dr. Harrie Vredenburg, Suncor Energy Chair in Competitive Strategy &  Sustainable Development, Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary, Canada
• Dr. Rolf Wüstenhagen, Senior Lecturer, University of St. Gallen (Switzerland)
