About oikos Case Workshops

Excellent cases in corporate sustainability and social entrepreneurship are still rare. There is an enormous need to develop expertise in these areas in order to support the writing of cases suitable for use in corporate sustainability and social entrepreneurship classes, as well as in mainstream disciplines such as corporate strategy, marketing, entrepreneurship and finance. 

 

In order to develop this expertise, oikos has been organising annual Case Writing Labs at the Academy of Management (AoM) conference since 2009. This year we are doing our fourth Case Writing Lab at AoM. The intention of these workshops is to help scholars develop case study projects in the field of social entrepreneurship and corporate sustainability into mature teaching cases and to reflect about characteristics of excellent cases.
