Planting oikos in Berlin

Thomas and Linda, oikos Alumni, are on a mission to find students to start an oikos Chapter in the German Capital

Thomas Petruschke (oikos Alumni) and Linda Bergset (particiant at the oikos Young Scholars Entrepreneurship Academy 2011) are passionate about extending oikos to Berlin. They find it quite surprising that there is no group in their resident city, given that Berlin has around 100.000 students and is reknowned for its green attitude.

In the coming months, Thomas and Linda are aiming to make oikos part of the sustainability discussion in the city  so that they can sniff out students (or student groups) who are captured by oikos' mission and approach. They are evening planning to set up a preliminary advisory board for the oikos chapter, so students will have a host of sustainability professionals at their disposal!

The upcoming oikos Winter School is also going to be held in Berlin from 6-12 November, so students have the chance to participate in the student sustainability entrepreneurship school without even leaving their university city.
