Issue 2: Agriculture and Rural Businesses

Issue 2 (Spring 2011) is focused on the topic of Agriculture and Rural Businesses and it features two cases:

ALTIS: A Microfinance Startup in Nepal (by Jacen Greene, Sustainable Harvest, and R. Scott Marshall, Portland State University) and
Farmstar Goes Global: Corporate Entrepreneurship Bringing Sustainable Value Innovation to Agribusiness (by Benjamin Warr and Anne-Marie Carrick-Cagna, INSEAD).

Both cases are finalists in the 2010 oikos Case Writing Competition (Social Entrepreneurship and Corporate Sustainability tracks).
