“Analysis of the Impact of Economic Incentives to Control Greenhouse Gas Emissions within the Framework of a Dynamic General Equilibrium Model of the Israeli Economy”
My name is Helena and I am from Haifa, Israel. I am in my first year of PhD studies at Haifa University in Natural Recourse and Environmental Management Department. I also work as a research fellow at the Natural resources and Environmental Research Center.
My current research is about the analysis of the Impact of Economic Incentives to Control Greenhouse Gases Emissions within the Framework of Dynamic General Equilibrium Model of the Israeli Economy. My previous research project was Greenhouse Gases abatement Policy Alternatives for Israeli Economy for the year 2020 with Static General Equilibrium Model of the Israeli Economy.
I have a multidisciplinary academic background. My B.A. is in Economics and Management and M.A. is in Statistics.
My research interests center around climate Change Modeling and Policy, computable General Equilibrium models and statistics.
I was born in the Ukraine but have been living in Israel for twenty years. In my free time I like painting, crocheting and cooking. I have three wonderful sons: Tal is ten years old, Alon is three years old and David is ten month.
I am looking forward to meeting you during the oikos PhD Summer Academy and I am really excited for the opportunity to discuss researched topics and exchange ideas.
