oikos has been developing cooperations on specific projects or cross-promoting projects or events with the following organizations:
oikos and AIESEC have promoted their projects linked to corporate sustainability in each other's network and are developing further cooperations on specific projects.
One recent example of May 2007 is 'oikos Post-Kyoto', a simulation game organized by oikos Bayreuth within the AIESEC Symposium "Sustainable Future - Ist eine nachhaltige Entwicklung Afrikas möglich?".
CSR WeltWeit provides a wide range of information to assist companies in tailoring their CSR activities to the social needs of target countries. It also provides an effective platform for publicizing their successful CSR efforts and initiatives, thereby motivating other companies to follow their lead.
ETH Sustainability and Youth Encounter on Sustainable Development
Under the umbrella of the ETH and the Alliance for Global Sustainability, the Tokyo Colloquium 2007 has been organised. Nina Hug represented oikos International showcasing best practices of students' sustainability projetcs.

One of the developpers of the "ecological footprint", Mathis Wackernagel, and Martin Kärcher from the Swiss footprint office illustrated this well known sustainability measurement tool and its implications at the oikos Conference 2007.

International Network for Educational Exchange (INEX)
INEX offers "eye-opening and life-changing" learning experiences for sustainability and prepares future leaders for the world’s major challenges. The sessions take place during one-month programs in Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua as well as in Austria and beyond. Philipp Schoeffmann has been a participant at the oikos Conference 2008.
Institute for Economy and the Environment of the University of St. Gallen
oikos has actively supported the creation of the first institute at the University of St.Gallen focussing primarily on sustainability issues. Ever since oikos and the IWÖ have been collaborating in several teaching projects.
Institute for Environmental Management and Business Administration at the European Business School
oikos members make their way: Paschen von Flotow, founder of oikos St.Gallen and oikos Advisor till 2007, is head of this institute fostering research in environmental management.
oikos events are carbon neutral - oikos therefore cooperates with My Climate. Renat Heuberger also represented his initiative at the Hamburg Climate Days organised by oikos Hamburg.
Being a strong sustainability player in the US, oikos has set up a constructive dialogue with Net Impact to figure out the potential of joint action.

UNEP / Wuppertal Institute Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production
oikos is visiting the center with its 4th Winter School in November 2007. The students will get an insight in sustainability at work.

The university of St.Gallen supports oikos in the organisation of major oikos projects such as this years oikos conference.
World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD)
oikos has set up a continuous dialogue with the Council.
World Student Community for Sustainable Development
The WSC-SD is organising the Student Summit for Sustainability and other events promoting sustainability in higher education. One of its latest projects was the launch of its e-book "RE:SOLUTIONS - 21 Young Leaders on Climate Change" in December during he UN Climate Conference in Copenhagen, COP15. oikos is partnering in this e-book publication on student led climate resolutions. http://cop15.wscsd.org
Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy
The Wuppertal Institute is strongly linked to the oikos chapters in Witten/Herdecke and Cologne. They are setting up project cooperations as for the Winter School 2007.
